Cowboy Up At Gaynor Ranch

Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes

Nancy Gaynor moved to Polson, Montana to help others live their Montana Dream by starting Gaynor Ranch Bed and Breakfast. Nancy is a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, and runs the ranch with her husband Don.

At Gaynor Ranch, you can rent tipis or cabins and hire a native guide to lead local trail rides. The Gaynor's tipis feature buffalo-hide rugs on wooden floors and nice beds with down comforters – "we call it 'tipi glamping,' " Nancy Gaynor says. Don and Nancy offer beautiful rooms and suites to fit anyone's budget in the world renowned Mission Mountains, just minutes from Flathead Lake.

Gaynor Ranch B&B offers hearty cowboy dinners and horseback riding into the mountains. Spring brings wildflowers to the range. During a tour this time of year, your guide and wrangler will take you past the waterfalls in the area, meandering through landscapes of Indian paintbrush and Blue Lupin.  Keep an eye out for coyotes, deer, elk, and an occasional rabbit.  It’s an outdoor experience not to be missed!
