39 Restaurant is located inside First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City along Route 66. The restaurant offers a dining experience inspired by the food traditions of the 39 tribal nations in Oklahoma today, which is the inspiration behind the restaurant’s name.

The restaurant highlights ingredients that have long been important to Indigenous foodways across North America, including corn, beans, squash and other regional plants and proteins. By combining traditional ingredients with current culinary techniques, 39 Restaurant provides visitors with an opportunity to experience a contemporary take on Native cuisine while exploring the museum’s cultural exhibits.

With consultation by James Beard-nominated chef, Crystal Wahpepah (Kickapoo), 39 Restaurant focuses on ingredients and cooking traditions connected to Indigenous cultures across North America.
