ABOUT BEAR PAW INDIAN ARTS AND GALLERY

Located within the homelands of the Pueblo peoples, whose ancestors have lived along the Rio Grande for more than a thousand years, the gallery offers travelers an opportunity to support Native artists directly while engaging with living cultures rooted in community and stewardship.

Each piece reflects the story and skill of its maker. Diné silver and turquoise jewelry carries generations of silversmithing tradition, Zuni inlay showcases refined stone-setting techniques, and Pueblo pottery continues an ancient relationship between clay, fire and landscape. Knowledgeable staff offer insight into symbolism, materials and the cultural meaning behind the work.

Visitors can find an extensive selection of handmade jewelry, particularly sterling silver and turquoise pieces created by Navajo (Diné), Zuni, and other regional artisans. The gallery is known for both contemporary and traditional designs, ranging from intricate inlay work and cluster settings to bold statement cuffs and necklaces. Many pieces are artist-signed, reinforcing authenticity and traceability to the maker.

A visit to Bear Paw Indian Arts and Gallery is more than shopping, it is a chance to connect with Native creativity grounded in place, family and enduring Southwestern traditions.
