Indian Canyons Golf Resort

Indian Canyons Golf Resort Information

Indian Canyons Golf Resort is a desert oasis blending world-class golf, Native history, and stunning landscapes. Located in Palm Springs, California, this iconic destination sits on the historic lands of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, whose influence shapes the region’s cultural and environmental landscape.

Surrounded by the rugged San Jacinto Mountains to the west and the jagged Santa Rosa Mountains to the south, the resort offers two renowned 18-hole courses. The South Course is famed for its natural beauty, including five par 5s, a collection of playable par 4s, and several par 3s, all set among 850 palm trees, including 500 California fan palms that are culturally significant to the Agua Caliente. Highlights include a fountain designed by Walt Disney and an Eisenhower Presidential phone booth, a nod to the course’s history. The course spans 6,560 yards, with four ponds and sweeping mountain vistas. The North Course, a William P. Bell-designed, par-72 course, is known for its challenging layout and scenic views of the San Jacinto Mountains.

The South Restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, while the North Course Bar offers drinks and light fare. Both courses provide a perfect blend of challenging play and natural beauty, with golfers often sharing the space with local wildlife like roadrunners, jackrabbits, and bighorn sheep.

Whether you're enjoying a round of golf or taking in the desert oasis surroundings, Indian Canyons Golf Resort is a blend of history, culture, and world-class recreation.
