Join the Lumbee Tribe of N.C. for the "Dance of the Harvest Moon" Powwow from September 26 to September 28, 2025, at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center, 638 Terry Sanford Drive, Maxton, North Carolina. Sitting on the winding banks of the beautiful Lumbee River, the Cultural Center sits in the heart of the Lumbee Tribal Territory. The event is one of the largest powwows on the East Coast, and it welcomes some of the best drum groups and dancers from around the nation. Tickets range from $5 to $20.

 The Lumbee Powwow has something for everyone. Guest will enjoy Powwow dancing, a dance contest for men and women and a drum contest.  There will also be cultural demonstrations throughout the weekend.
