FORT YUMA-QUECHAN
The reservation borders the states of Arizona, California and Baja California, Mexico. Encompassing 45,000 acres, the reservation is bisected on the south by Interstate 8 (I-8). Consequently, several million cars a year drive through the Fort Yuma Quechan Reservation on their way to and from Phoenix and San Diego.

You’re perfectly positioned for an easy day trip. Simply drive 2 minutes south to the Andrade border crossing – one of the most convenient and least crowded crossings along the US-Mexico border. Park in the secure lots on the US side (just $5 for the day), then walk across the border into Los Algodones.
The town is compact and walk-able, with dental offices, pharmacies, restaurants, and shops all within a few blocks of the border crossing. When you’re ready to return, simply walk back across and you’ll be back at Sleepy Hollow in no time, making it the perfect base for your Los Algodones adventure.
