The Dungeness Golf Course first opened in 1969; the 2nd nine was built the following year. In January of 2007 the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe purchased the golf course and since then, there have been a tremendous amount of improvements to the golf course as well as the Clubhouse. The Tribe changed the name to the Cedars at Dungeness to meld the two names together with 7 Cedars Casino. The property houses an 18-hole Championship Golf Course with a practice putting green, short game area and a full driving range. The Pro Shop is stocked with a great variety of clothing and accessories, as well as, the latest in high-tech golf equipment. Cedars has been rated as a 4-Star golf course by Golf Digest and has won the Best Golf Course in Western Washington, 5 years in a row by King 5 News. In addition, to hosting many Professional and Amateur tournaments, Cedars hosts a huge amount of corporate outings and group bookings. Cedars prides itself with outstanding course conditions, lack of rainfall and superior customer service. After a round of golf, stop in and eat at Double Eagle Steak & Seafood Restaurant or have a drink at Stymie's Bar & Grill.
