The lower Trinity River is located in Northern California and runs through the heart of the Hoopa Indian reservation. This is a one-of-a-kind river, it offers year round fishery for Steelhead, Salmon, and Coho. Enjoy the beautiful Trinity River on a scenic boat ride.
HOOPA TRIBAL GUIDE
Anthony Colegrove was born and raised in Northern California. He is an enrolled Hoopa Tribal member, also Yurok and Quanault. He has lived in Hoopa his entire life. Fishing has been his passion since he was young. He was taught by his grandpa and dad who were also fishing guides on the Trinity and Klamath Rivers. As of today, Anthony is one of the only legal guides permitted to guide through Hoopa reservations tribal waters. He takes pride in what he does and would love to share his passion with you all. He is an avid outdoorsman that loves to fish, hunt, and gather food. He is a 3rd generation fishing guide ready to help make memories that will last a lifetime.
GOAL

STEELHEAD
The trinity river offers year-round steelhead fishing. For winter steelhead December-March, February being the hottest month for winter steelies. June-August we have a summer run. September-November an awesome fall run. For steelhead we specialize in drift fishing with roe, spinner fishing, spoon fishing, and pulling plugs.
During the winter months we fish from Tish Tang to red rock. Summer/Fall we fish from Tish Tang to Weitchpec following the run.
SALMON
The trinity river offers spring, summer, and fall fishing for salmon. For Salmon we drift fish with roe, spinner fish, spoon fish, and pull plugs. We fish from Tish Tang down to Weitchpec, following the run as the fish make the way up the river.
