“On the north end of the state, Loomis Trail Golf Club has been ranked in the top five golf courses in Washington and offers a challenging year-round course. Loomis Trail is known for its high slope thanks to an intricate canal and lake system woven throughout the 18-hole course.” Lori A. May, SeattlePL.com

The award-winning Loomis Trail Golf in Blaine, Washington, offers a complete golf resort experience for golf lovers worldwide. Famed golf course architect Graham Cooke designed this unique course. It boasts both scenic beauty and unsurpassed, consistently smooth, fast and true greens and an extensive canal and lake system brings water into play on all 18 holes.

Loomis Trail is important to the Lummi Nation, the owners of the course. The Lummi Nation is one of the Coast Salish Tribes, with ancestral territory spanning the coastal lands and waters of the Puget Sound, particularly around present-day Whatcom County, including the Lummi Peninsula, the San Juan Islands, and parts of the mainland near Bellingham.

The Lummi Nation is located in northwestern Washington State, just west of Bellingham in Whatcom County. The Canadian border is approximately 14-18 miles away. The Loomis trail land is within St’l’elnep, Lummi ancient ground or village.

After the game, golfers can stay at the Tribe's beautiful Silver Reef Casino Resort, a short five-minute drive (about 3 miles), offering luxury lodging of 206 rooms, spa services, gaming and views of Mt. Baker and the Salish Sea. Dine in The Steak House at Silver Reef.
