Yurok Tribe owned Mad River Brewery is nestled among the majestic redwoods located in Humboldt County, California. Purchased in 2019 by the Yurok Tribe, the independent craft brewery boasts a portfolio of craft ales that promote a decades-long fight for environmental restoration and justice.

Committed to producing the best-quality beverages on the planet, the brewery continues to employ the most holistic brewing methods to hand-craft the finest quality award-winning ales.

The brewery and tap room are located 6.5 miles east of Highway 101 in sunny and picturesque Blue Lake, just a stone’s throw from the Mad River. Offering a refreshing and laid-back atmosphere, visitors can get both tried-and-true flagship beers like Steelhead Extra Pale Ale and Jamaica Red Ale as well as small-batch fan-favorites and interesting seasonal varietals that indulge our experimental side.
